Welcome to my game! 

Rocket Dash is about guiding a rocket at breakneck speeds through various levels filled with lasers, trees and also more lasers before the time runs out and it's fuse hits 0. Do you have what it takes to get to the end?

ALSO, heads up to anyone playing lower than the locked 60 FPS that there is some very strange jank with my movement code that makes the speed frame rate dependent. I locked the project to 60 FPS, though just beware if you're at 30, your rocket speed is most likely going to be a bit slower than intended. Sorry in advance :/

CONTROLS:

Move your mouse to guide the rocket

Hold left click to use your boost

Go through boost "rings" (those big blue orbs in the sky) to get a speed boost

Collect the purple rocket powerup to gain some boost to your gauge!

"Close calls" are created by flying close to obstacles and will give you boost!

Pro Tip: Stay close to the ground to generate boost faster

Hope you enjoy playing; making this game has been a wild ride, but I enjoyed every second of it! Super happy with how it turned out, considering this is my first game jam.
